  • BlackBerry UEM Enroll app
  • BBM Enterprise
  • BlackBerry Edit
  • BlackBerry Work
  • BlackBerry Access
  • BlackBerry Share
  • BlackBerry Connect

Overview

In the Android operating system, apps are bundled into Android Package Kit (APK) files that contain all of the necessary files for a single Android program.
  • These apps are typically downloaded to Android devices via the Google Play Store or other stores that host Android apps. This is the default and standard UEM deployment for BlackBerry apps available in the store.
  • The BlackBerry Android apps available in Google Play can also be manually loaded on Android devices from other sources, either by downloading them through a web browser (link to download in the below table) on the Android devices or through a USB.
  • In an environment where Android devices do not have access to Google Play (for example, it is blocked in the country), the Android apps can be uploaded and hosted in the UEM and deployed over-the-air. This solution requires UEM version 12.11 and later. For additional info, see BlackBerry Enroll app and Android Enterprise activation with no access to Google Play.
